So…
Step 1: Bake some cookies or meringues (see recipes below)
Step 2: Pop them in a glass jar
Step 3: Print out these awesome ‘Reindeer Nibbles’ labels and tags, stick them on your jar
Step 4: Tie a little red or green ribbon around the neck of the jar
Step 5: Give your yummy gifts!
Step 6: Bask in festive glow
Easy Meringue Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup castor sugar (or plain white sugar)
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method:
- Mix all ingredients together except baking powder.
- Beat for 10-15 minutes until stiff and then fold in one teaspoon baking powder.
- Bake at 125°C for one hour, then let cool for one hour.
Easy Choc Chip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
Method:
- Cream butter, oil and sugars. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes.
